@aakriti1  I was given a 4 digit nummer and the long nummer starting w VO…………….  Not sure if that is what your referring to  Thanks
@Tonne85
You must have received one letter where they mentioned that using given number you can track application. and also how to track application.
@Abhimanyu_143
Yes we got that from the visa dept in Embassy where we applied.  However when inputting the info.  It gives the answer no result
@Tonne85
It's quite strange that the application not registered yet as you applied in January.You should call them and ask for update.
@Abhimanyu_143
We called but are referred back to the website… a recording as no one answers

@Abena ne
I got an answer back on my inquiry I made via email.  I’m in disbelief .
Our service has not yet received or processed and scanned the paper file, which means you cannot track it online.
This will be possible as soon as our service starts processing the file.
For this type of request, you should expect a processing time of 9 to 15 months.
With kind regards,
Hi All,
A bit late to share my timeline, but better late than never
Both my spouse and I are NON-EU.
Diplomatic Post:Â Â Moscow
Date of visa application:Â Â Nov 26, 2024
Date of registration of the visa application by the Immigration Office:Â Â Jan 9, 2025
Decision:Â Â ACCORD
Date of decision:Â Â Apr 24, 2025
I want to share a tip that I realized only after getting ACCORD. If you are constantly checking your visa status, you can just stop. Their system updates only super early in the morning of the NEXT day (I'm not sure when exactly). For example, if you get your visa today, you can only see it tomorrow morning. This is what happened to me—the date of decision is indicated as Apr 24, 2025; however, I only saw it on the website on Apr 25, 2025 (I checked the visa web page like 10 times on Apr 24 ))
Regarding VPN, previously visa status checking page was working from everywhere, but then it stopped. I bought a subscription to Nord VPN, because they have a server in Brussels, and I did not have a single problem accessing the status website, no matter where I am.
Also, I would like to suggest that if you are waiting for too long, write them an email instead of calling them. It looks like email may help you somehow, because I called them in total like 6-7 times (over all the months of waiting), and their replies were not the nicest.... Then I wrote an email, and we got a visa in like a week after sending the email. Maybe it is a coincidence, maybe not - who knows....
UPD: Grammar
@Abhimanyu_143
Primary Work Permit Holder should earn more than 5000 Euros in order to process family visa with themselves, thats the new rule otherwise wait till 6 to 9 months
The most useful information for people to share is when your application was registered with the Immigration Office. Since this is a queue system, if people can report their "Date of registration of the visa application by the Immigration Office", then we'll be able to get an idea of where the queue is up to.
Date of registration of the visa application by the Immigration Office: Feb 19
Hello everyone,
I have a job position in Belgium as a highly skilled job. My wife and I are non-EU citizens. My wife has an Italian residence permit and Schengen Visa from Italy that will expire by the end of August.
My question is that whether my wife can come to Belgium and apply for family reunification within Belgium. Is it possible?
@E bayat
No of course not , she can apply from Italy yes unless her residency is finished… for the day of visa approval she would have to show valid residency in Italy …
nope applied 3 feb nothing.. idontknow whats wrong
Good news. My partner's visa was just approved.
We are both non-EU.

Hello everyone,
I had submitted my marriage certificate to the embassy earlier for family reunification, but it didn’t have the venue of marriage and place of birth translated into English (its available but in native). Now I’ve got an updated version where that missing info is translated, and it’s also apostilled.
Just wanted to ask should I submit this updated version to IBZ? Or is this a minor thing that won’t cause any issues later? Really looking for some honest advice here so i can act accordingly. Thanks in advance!
Hi. Yes, you can certainly send the document to IBZ. What you need to do when sending the email is to state your viza application number, the place you applied for your visa, and date of application. You can request that they add it to your file. I made a request to add new documents when I applied for a family reunification visa for my family 2 years ago and it was not a problem at all.
Thank you Kitah for replying. I’m just a bit worried they might question why I didn’t submit the correct version earlier so thought to check here. I will send them updated version.
I understand. You can simply state that there was an error in the one you already submitted and that they should consider the updated version. If the visa is for your spouse, indicate his/her name, visa application number, place of application, and date of birth. All the best!
Just to add: In my case, I wrote a letter to explain in detail why I was adding an extra document. You could do that as well.
@Kitah
When you did that, did you get any response from them other them automatic replies? I sent them some documents twice, but they didn't return to me other than auto replies.
@Mert,
This was in 2023. I got automatic replies, but later an email confirming that it has been forwarded to the relevant department. I later called IBZ just to be sure and it was indeed included in my file. I applied for a family reunification visa for my wife and son in July 2023 and it was approved in December 2023. It took about 5 months. Good luck!
Hello everyone,
