It takes 6 to nine months .

for me applied on June 11th and registered 8th July.. no updates after that.

still no update, my husband called them, they said you have to wait 9 to 15 months. It's really too much.

It's too slow process..

For a country thats as small as belgium it should be quicker. Even in a bigger country like England they issue it within 6 weeks lol

From August we can able to see progress in visa processing because I have seen the last year data in this forum.During this time they didn't approve the files and after august only they started working.

Got an update this morning:

Awaiting receipt of supporting documents for the visa application sent by diplomatic pouch by the diplomatic/consular post.

So I'm assuming the embassy sent the physical documents by diplomatic pouch to the immigration office in Brussels?

Visa approved this morning, showing as accord. Good luck to everyone else!

Visa C family reunification 2004/38/EC directive timeline:

12 July - Applied

13 July - Referred to Dofi

23 July - Requested additional documents

24 July - Approved.

For anyone else applying for the same visa that was my timeline. Embassy applied: Islamabad, PK.

Quick question, does anyone know how long it takes for embassy to acknowledge the visa being approved by dofi and then send it to vfs for collection?

Anybody got update regarding visa?

Guys quick question,

Does my wife have to provide any additional documents at Brussels airport? Our visa was approved just last week and I'm just curious whether someone can shed some light on this.

She has a flight from Islamabad > Istanbul > Brussels.

Will she need to provide any documentation other than her passport(which obviously has the visa on it) at any point during her journey?
