I did not have to notarize any apostilled document

No.

You do need a Sworn Translation, of the Background Check and the Apostille

DHL seems to be the best courier to use:  they have the most extensive network across Brazil.

How long did it take for this document to be apostilled?

Don't forget that it must be sworn translation.

If you need a good translation agency for sworn translations, I can recommend you one. I can write their contact details in private message.

Actually, if mailed checks are done in WV.  If you use a channeler there are locations that can be quicker.

actually I drive by there all the time ... the new homeland security offices are only about 60 miles from downtown DC and there are plenty of people out here who actually commute everyday, either by car or bus or commuter train.....on the other hand, getting anybody to actually do the job they are paid to do gets harder and harder all the time ....its damn near legendary when anything works as promised .....
