Maltese citizen going back to Malta

Clay_gee

hello
me and my husband currently live in england  but we would like to move to Malta in the next 18 - 24 months.
i am maltese by birth and my husband is british and will be applying for the maltese citizenship based on us being married for over 5 years.

one thing i absolutely cannot find an answer online for is - as we will be both Maltese citizens by the time we move to Malta, do we have to apply for any of the residence programmes, (and as UK transition period will be over), would we need any visas etc.

are there any laws/regulations that would apply to us as two maltese citizens going to malta.

thanks & Regards

If you will be both Maltese then, of course, you won't need any visa.

did not think we would need a visa. more concerned of any residency schemes, if they would apply to us. i panic when i read of like having to pay 35% of our income etc.....we are no russian billionaires!!!!!!
