Number Plates

Reggie2

Bit confused or have been taking my stupid pills.

Registering a car next week.

You hand in the plates so what is the official procedure on using the car,can you officially drive it with no plates during the registration process???

or is it straight home and park up?

If its a straight forward registration then you get the plates while you wait. You can fix them yourself and drive off (double sided tape or battery drill and pop rivet gun), or do what the dealers do and drive back with them on the dashboard/ back parcel shelf.

Thats great Terry

How's your back?

Any experience if it's not 'straight forward 'do they give you them back(UK plates)?

Many thanks

Sean

PS watching our lad Frazier at Mellieha football club tonight, apparently playing the Army. We will be up there if you fancy a beer.

The not straight forward is if you are claiming exemption (or if you mess up the application form) then you keep the UK plates but they give you a receipt to say you have started the process.
Back is nearly better, we will be down watching the queen tribute band tonight from  a friends house in the square.

If you are around the band club the house is opposite and we may be outside or on the roof (look for an old guy trying to hold his back and a chisk  at the same time :D ).

Will have a trip up there Terry,I'm usually the guy dressed like Johnny Cash(in black)with my wife Mary and Lad Frazier.
Will see how black and blue Frazier is plus he has work at Popeye Village in the morning.
Do you mean the band club opposite the church on the corner,we call it 'The Conservative Club'..:-)

No , the one at the other end of the square.
I'll be there from about 9pm, with my wife (Sheelagh) as well.

See you there perhaps.

Nothing like the real thing Terry as they say.
Lets face it Freddie alone is a tough one to match,a magical and unique voice and any one that gargles on vodka before a show to warm up has gotta be awesome!Been nothing like them since. I thought maybe The Darkness were 'nearly there' saw them a couple of times with my boys, but they threw the towel in.
next time..
