Checking Your Other Citizenships

seaseaseaseasea55555

I have a few citizenships. If I apply for Paraguay Citizenship under my weakest citizenship so I can then relinquish it when I get Paraguayan, is there any point in the process where they'll find out about my other citizenships?

These are not my actual citizenships, this is just an example:

Supposing I have German, Irish and Bangladeshi citizenship. If I apply for Paraguay residency and then citizenship under SUACE using my Bangladeshi and then renounce my Bangladeshi once I get Paraguayan, will they find out about me German and Irish or will I have to declare them?

Anyone?

@seaseaseaseasea55555  Part of the process is providing your birth certificate.  Aside from that, I doubt anyone would ask about other citizenships unless you are providing a criminal background check from your country of birth.  It will clearly be a "don't ask, don't tell" situation as if they find out you could be banned from citizenship.  That said, if you are hoping to live here, permanent residence brings almost every benefit a passport does.  Can't vote is about all.
