How can i send SMS from Saudi Arabia to Cali, Colombia?

Hi, I'm Jap Ibrahim and I have a friend there in Cali, Colombia I wanna call him but why I can't contact him he gave me the correct number also even my sms its always message sending failed. Please help me with my problem. Your assistance is highly appreciated.

Hi,

Do you know which mobile network he uses? The 3 operators are Claro (which until recently was called Comcel), Movistar or Tigo. There are also some MVNO's (who use one of these networks but brand it differently) like UFF.

I have a pre-pay Movistar SIM and I can't receive any texts from abroad. I suspect Movistar have some kind of international block on pre-pay. My wife's Claro SIM can receive with no problems.

You can also send a text from the web to a Claro mobile, you can use this link

It's free for you. However, the recipient does have to pay!
