I bring fresh pepper sprays from the USA annually, one for the bike, one for my pocket, and I always keep one in the car.

@antonioggriffin Not really planning on doing this, but I was curious. Apparently in the USA, you can purchase it on Amazon. Com. In Brazil my go to on-line retailer TEMU only offers Safety Alarms if you look up pepper spray.

I have seen pepper sprays available on Mercadi Livre, but, while it is not illegal to sell them, I think you need to have training and a license to use them - ie they are for the police and army, not ordinary folks. But that may change in time...

It's exactly like carrying a Concealed Weapon in the USA, it's called concealed for a very good reason. On the bike, I have a drink holder on my left handlebar, My spray fits it well, easy to reach with my right, throttle hand, yet hard to see or to recognize.

Yes, they are very easy to buy in the USA, from many sources. Just remember, like everything else, not all brands are alike and believe in their expiration dates. Also, follow the airline and TSA rules for transport.

For now, I travel far too much, by car, bus, and internationally, to have the luxury of dogs. They are also tough to bring on the bikes without using a sidecar, or pulling a trailer behind the bike. In the USA, I used tom pull trailers behind motorcycles for many years, but I'm done with that chapter of my life.

@rraypo I don't know who I owe to be so lucky to be in so many conversations today.  Well, it's safe to say I have been almost everywhere (I have a very soft spot for the Maldives though) i want to go and we are very comfortable living in our huge three house with pool assisted living family created compound. Now that my wife has turned her SORVETE shop into the social spot for the community. We now have Kids Trampolines, Swings and more. Routinely host major events and literally stopped traffic with EVERYONE coming to the compound for our Easter Egg Hunt. Of course it is my wife who is the famous one, so we commonly have young teens taking selfies of the CASA AZUL near the pool, not realizing that this is actually my house and not a tourist stop.

Translation: Roddie ain't going anywhere now that I have my Paradise on Earth which is well protected by SIMBA and PANDORA 24 hours.
