Hi Nikhil.

I think people would need more information. As is, it is sort of like asking how high is tall.

What might help you more quickly would be to look at previous posts on that topic, or questions about living costs there are several, and people from that general area have posted in them.

Well, it's a pretty broad spectrum for rent. You could spend $500/month or $2,000/month. You could get a decent place in a decent location, with utilities, for probably around $800/month. You could eat out every day for as little as $5/meal per person, but you could also spend $15/per person. Prepare food at home for as little as $4/per couple. You could get car insurance for around $500/year (again, so many variables like the car insured, how much coverage). Can't tell you anything about health care (but you can find millions of posts online about that in Mexico). You can get a cell plan that covers pretty much everything for $15/month. Bottled water is $2/month if you get the 20L bottles filled. You can go to the movies as a couple, including popcorn and drinks, for around $8 total! Other costs might be laundry, gym membership and cable tv. Remember that this might be affected by the exchange rate, currently around 18.7 pesos to a dollar.

Good response, that pretty much covers it for the whole country more or less.
