With deep gratitude

jazzpaz

Ever since I moved to Saltillo Coahuila from Houston, Texas, l have been the beneficiary of  incredibly generous strangers and neighbors.

I was here only a few days when I tripped walking my dog, fell and lost consciousness. So many people came to my aid! Someone called an ambulance, someone alerted my wife, someone assumed care for my dog, etc.

I spent the night in ER, and when I was discharged there were neighbors waiting in the hospital waiting room to take us home. I later realized that another English-speaking neighbor had been with us all night, translating between my wife and the physicians.

I am so humbled and appreciative by these people's kindness and generosity. I am having difficulty comprehending their selflessness on my behalf.

In Houston l would know what to do to reciprocate, but what is appropriate here? I barely know these angels, l don't want to appear ungrateful, but I don't want to be seen as in appropriate, either.

Please advise.
