So I would say you will save aproxemitaly 4 to 5 thousands per month

Hi .. You should know that your monthly saving will not exceed 3000 for the first three years since you have to pay for getting a car, furniture and appliances assuming that you going to take a loan for getting all of these things and need three years to settle it down.

I agree with Mutaz.聽 Living here is not cheap. Your cars (if you get cheapish ones) for QR70 000 (x2) will cost in the region of QR1600 a month each. You will need to put a deposit down as well.
Accommodation is expensive and with two children a decent villa could cost between QR12 000 - QR18 000 (you need to work out what your allowance will be and see what the extra cost to you will be).
Then after school activities can cost e.g. Swimming for the term is QR2500 per child (3 months), Music lessons QR2800 for the term. Then you will need to pay a deposit per school child (btwn QR5 000 and QR10 000 per child depending on the school) for a placement in a school (which is a whole other issue) - find out if your company can assist with this. You will require attested reports for your children, which needs to be done in your country of origin, no placements will occur unless you have this documentation. School uniforms will cost approximately QR1 000 per child.
Imported food produce is also expensive, local vegetables are reasonable.

If your wife earns a salary that will definitely help.

I think accommodation expenses depend on the location where you want to stay in the city.
Any comments on a salary of 27,000QR per month (inclusive of accommodation) for a family of 3 (a couple +3yr old kid)? My friend is a doc & he has got such offer.

Yes. The above mentioned expenses list looks quite valid.

The rent is the main expense that you have to managed. The rent could anything from 9,000 to 18,000 depending on where you decided to set up shop. I have seen people here on the forum mention that you can get a two bed room place for 5,000 but I havent seen any such place for the past 1 year that I have been in Doha. All the reasonable and decent areas to live in Doha are reasonably expensive with the Pearl being the most expensive of the areas. If accommodation is not covered in your contract, then you need to know that you have to set aside atleast 9,000 for your rent if you are a family moving to Doha. It is a bigger nightmare to move out of a country than to move in so please make a measured decision.
