Hi all, my family and I are moving to Doha in September from Australia. I am wondering if there are any other families that could recommend schools? Especially schools that would be the easiest for Australian children to transition into.

Western prefer schools in Doha are based on 90 Percent British curriculum.

Hi, I'm in the same situation, moving with two kids from Australia to Doha later this year.

Have you had any luck with finding schools?

I was told to look into schools that either teach the IB curriculum or the British curriculum.

Most schools tell me that my kids would need to repeat a year (or essentially 6 months) as the Ministry requires the children to have completed the year-level but coming from Australia they are only half-way through the year-level. I'm still trying to talk to a couple of schools and see if that can be avoided. I will be happy to share if it works out
