The cost of living has recently taken a massive turn, with the introduction of 100% duty on alcohol, pork and cigarettes. As a western expatriate, the use of alcohol in moderation and the eating of pork products are normal and with this massive increase has made the prospect of living here just that little less appealing. Recently an attempt was made to "reduce" the cost of alcohol by allowing a 20% discount, which is slightly better, but still means that alcohol is the most expensive here, than anywhere else in the word.

Only the renting of the house is expensive, others standard, it depends on you, a dinner can be 15 or 150 qr to you. Transportation is cheap
