Renewal of the CPR for a person on Investor visa.

Newbie786

My employer possesses an investor visa, but she currently resides in Dubai as she manages multiple offices there. Her CPR has expired a long time ago, but she now need it for some official purposes in her next visit to Bahrain.

I have a few questions regarding this matter:

1.) What is the process for renewing her CPR, considering that she does not have any proof of address in Bahrain?

2.) Is proof of address a requirement? In case it is, could I add her to my address (as I am her employee holding a work visa) and then use my address to update her CPR?

3.) Assuming it is possible to renew her CPR, can the process be completed within two days? This is important as she will only be in Bahrain for a brief two-day visit.

Thank you in advance :)

She can request online ONCE she is inside Bahrain. And yes, it will require proof of address.

For a faster turnaround, you can go to the VIP service in Isa Town.

Address addition has nothing to do with being an employee. You can add relatives or friends if you have EWA under your name (or NOC) from landlord. However, adding people of different genders is generally not allowed - if they are not related to you.
