Hi,

We are ready to send money to an estate agent. They have an AMI number and we want to check it. We have tried the IMPIC website but putting in the license number doesnt seem to output anything, even for other estate agents. Can anyone tell me how to verify the agent is real and registered please?

This is the page I have used, and Ive added license numbers but nothing comes back. Perhaps I am using the wrong thing?

Any help much appreciated in case we are making a big mistake.

When you visited your estate agent office surely you got for their registration number, perused their complaints book, checked their office, got their business cards聽 etc,聽 Shirley yer Lawyer will advise on legal/money matters with stuff like "dont send monies to random interwebs scammers"
