Visiting Friends in Northern Ireland

MWojna

Hey,

I'll be moving to Dublin from Canada in August on a working holiday visa. However, I have friends who live in Northern Ireland and I would like to be able to visit them. Will I be able to go from Dublin to NI on a visa?

Thanks,

Matthew

An Irish visa does not confer right to enter NI, you may need a UK visa for this.

Sure if you're on a Canadian passport that will simply be a stamp in your passport. And TBH there's no border and really no one looking out for you at all. I've been here ten years (UK passport holder) and unless you are ethnic minority you won't stir anything up. Even then you probably won't.
