Like the quiet life

auddie

Looking to retire to a beautiful, peaceful place, thinking of Ireland. I have visited there twice, esp. loved the Aran islands, yes, I would like it THAT peaceful. Don't mind cold, wind, rain, etc. As long as it wasn't the ONLY weather year round. Caretaking of someone's home, pets, etc. might be something. I am an RN, but may not want that position after retirement. I love animals, have a companion dog that would accompany me. Ideas anyone ? Perhaps a temp position to begin ?

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

You really have 2 options - you either go there to work, which it doesn't sound like you want to do, or you go there to retire and don't work, if it's that then you need a retirement visa, this will take you to the Irish Government website that has the details.

Hope this helps.
