Contractors in the Corinth / Loutraki Area

speakerchalets98

Hello everyone,

I'm currently exploring a property in the Corinth/Loutraki area and will have a civil engineer surveying it in the coming weeks (exact date TBD). In the meantime, I'd like to connect with local building contractors to get an initial idea of renovation costs based on the upcoming survey and our planned interior changes.

Could anyone recommend reliable contractors in this area? Ideally, I'd like to arrange a visit to the property with them to walk around and discuss our objectives. Having English would be an advantage too.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Thank you, that's greatly appreciated. No panic, though.

A civil engineer is viewing the property this week, then he has to write up his report. It will be only then I will need to start getting stuck into the renovation quotes.

Some have contacted me to say avoid dealing directly with contractors, especially with not speaking Greek. So I am taking that onboard too.

We are letting this property go. The civil engineers' report came back and, it's turned up a mountain of issues. It was obviously in need of renovation, but the sheer scale of it, when put in hard numbers, just does not make it worth the gamble.

That said, we do have a second property we liked that we have placed an offer on now. A week has gone by, and they have said it will be the end of the week at least before they get back to us!? Maybe this is a strategy?
