Hello Richardss,

Welcome to ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ! :)

I have moved your topic on the Munich forum for better visibility.

Maybe you should contact the embassy in your country to find more info.

Best of luck,
Christine

You need visa for every country you enter or pass through.
Check with the respective embassies!

Richardss

Thanks Christine

Beppi that will be a long process, i was told that if i can get a resident permit i and my wife can travel freely in Europe without neccesarly having visas of all the countries we are to pass through. do you or anyone have any clue about this. thanks

Hi beppi,

Why ?

He will need only one Schengen visa to enter Germany and 25 other countries :

Richardss

thanks Chrifus let me research about that more.

Yes, correct, you need only one visa for all Schengen countries. But between Istanbul (Turkey) and Germany you pass through (depending on the route) at least two non-Schengen countries where you need a visa. That's what I meant.
I just realized that there is indeed a way to avoid this: Cross from Turkey to Greece, then take a ferry to Italy and continue to Germany overland. Sorry, I didn't think about that possibility before! But going through the Balkans definitely requires additional visa.

Richardss

Beppi thanks for that idea. that means from italy i can use a train go Germany with the help of the Schengen visa, not so?
