Family reunion Visa for spouse in India

Govindrajds

Hello,
I have recently moved to Germany with a long term contact from India. I don't have a physical card for the Blue card visa yet, as I have moved only a week ago.But I have sufficient income ( the annual salary requirements for blue card), sufficient area required for two people to live and I have done the registration at the Rathaus also.

My wife has applied for Family reunion Visa in India. Her appointment is in second week of February 2019. She doesn't have a A-1 German language certificate.

Based on my case, does she has to have this certificate:-(?
Apart from the Certificate she has every other document.

Thanks in advance.

Why do you post the same thing three times here AND send it to me (and probably others) as private message?
Do you have an entitlement complex (i.e. "I must have a personal consultation for free and it must be NOW!")???
I am really fed up with such posters who make a mess of the forum, waste everyone's time and probably never return the favour by posting their own experiences and answering other's questions. A mutual help forum does not work like this!
Therefore, I am sorry to say, you will have to live without my advice.

Hello beppi,
I apologise for this. I wanted to remove my earlier post but while doing that I happened. I didn't see it reflecting hence I clicked the submit button twice. Yes, sorry for that. I personally posted to you thinking you might respond to it quickly.
Sorry for this but it happened. I didn't do it deliberately.

I assumed as you belong to a different group I may have to specifically post you but later I found I can post this into thread of another city. Hence. But sorry for this trouble.

How is it you have gone to all of the trouble to get a blue card visa and not even know what it entails?

I am posting below a link to the English version of the German immigration information about blue card visas. It mentions relaxed requirements for spouses compared to other visa types. The English version says that they MIGHT be granted a family reunion visa without knowledge of German. Is it pretty much automatic or is it complicated I don't know; it's possible but I didn't see details on how it is decided.

Looking at the German version of this document, it sounds like the spouse getting a family reunion visa is pretty much automatic without a German exam. In such a conflict with two versions saying different things I would assume the German version is the original and most likely correct. But this document also lists a hotline phone number where you can call for information.
