looking to purchase a condo very near or on the beach-we have looked at punta cana, but did not get to see much else of DR.聽 We like to scuba dive and snorkel.聽 Most important would be rental income-return on investment (ROI), occupancy rates and a good attorney!聽 We have grown kids and grand-kids that would want to use the condo at times, so must be family friendly.聽 Not really interested in remote locations or mountains.

1) What areas would you recommend?
2) What areas would you avoid?
3) Names on any attorneys that you have used that were very good?

First you have to decide on an area and then we might be able to recommend lawyers, areas, rental agent and such.

Do look at the north coast in the Cabarrete area.聽 We had a great beach side condo in a terrific complex that was easy to rent.

Bob, I will be looking to rent for 4 weeks on the north coast sometime in January. Unfortunately I don't have exact dates but I would be interested in knowing what is available and at what prices per week.

Stan January is the middle of high season so things fill聽 up pretty quickly.聽

The sooner the better for getting a place.聽 Depending on location, amenities, size etc rent for a month can be from $500-$2000.
