Bringing Whole Grains into DR

ladyegg49

I do not eat anything with flour unless I mill it myself. Will be planning nearly a year's stay in DR. Will bring my mill to grind wheat into flour. Everything I find on bringing whole wheat berries (grains) into the country is about bringing them to the U.S. Does anyone have a link, know what the rule is about bringing grain into DR?

Hi ladyegg49,

I get different whole grain flours several times a year and could also get you whole grains because I bake with whole grain flour (bread, cakes, etc.)

@ladyegg49  Thank you for this post. I, too, am interested in bringing in whole grain to grind as needed. I have searched but found no information regarding this. No shipper has answered my queries. I’m hoping to ship Montana red wheat. I know people ship rice into the DR from USA.

A lack of response normally means no one has anything to share. I have no clue where to find wheat berries, but I didn't feel it appropriate to respond with a "No." If someone has an answer for you, they will post.

Ok thank you.
