Your best culinary memory in Thailand

Mickael

Hello everyone,

As you know, every country has its own flavours and tasting the local cuisine is a great way to discover the culture of a destination. Whether it's a small typical restaurant to taste local dishes, a traditional meal in a local's home, street food or fast food, there is something for everyone!

So, which dish do you want to try in Thailand?
Which dish has impressed you the most and when did you discover it?
Do you know how to cook it and share it with your family?

Thank you for your taste contribution ;)

Hello

I first tried horse shoe crab in Hat Yai. Unbelievably good.

Tried it at the Maimorn restaurant in Phuket and it was good too.

Cheryl

Hey scbrock,

Thanks for sharing your experience!

Is horseshoe crab easy to find at the market?

Were you able to cook it at home this time? Or is it better to keep this dish for restaurant outings? 1f606.svg

Hi Cheryl

I can't claim to be a cook 1f601.svgI had it at a restaurant.

Not many restaurants have it. Of course it's best if

served fresh so restaurants with the fish tanks are best

Regards

Cheryl

Nice one.1f609.svg

You are right. Restaurants with fish tanks are the best.

Thank you again.

Cheers,

in every province you can find the right restaurant with ethnic decent dishes of national cuisine by which you can recognize the cuisine of Thailand, this is at least Tom Yam Kung and there salad Somtam

Cheryl

Hey PavloPeter,

can we say that your favourite dish is the salad Somtam then? That's made from green papaya, right?1f60b.svg
