Water filters for home use.

California4me

I need recommendations for buying a home filter system for our condo. In the US we had a reverse osmosis filter system and the water tasted very good. Please tell me where to buy and how much. Thank You.

I bought a Mazuma unit from Home Pro. I believe I

paid about 5000B for it. It does a very good job and

the water tastes good but I probably got a system

that was better or more expensive than I needed.

It has 5 filters. Actually, one is a uv light and it needs

to be turned on when you use it and turned off when

finished otherwise it warms the water and ages the

unit prematurely. If I was to do it again I would have

just bought one of the 3 filter systems.

There is a newer German system that is compact with a

case for the filters to go in and looks like a small brief

case.

Never done that

Mazuma (5 filter) , Uni pure (6 filter)

We being use filter since last on 2011, And are happy about it.

We never have any problems.

I will all ways use 5 or 6 filter system because i know it work.

And it is very cheap.

We buy the Uni pure (6 filter) back in 2015 on promotions at the time.

When we move into our house.

We use no brand name filter to change all 6 filters 2 times per year.

Around 700 - 800 Thb

Kindly.

Is total price for all filters.

The wife got the information from the guy from home pro that come and plug it in.

But a quick google search i can see one can buy the filters No Name from 370 Thb (for all filters) and up.

And i can see a new Uni Pure, 5-step filtration system, Total cost 884 Thb.

UNI PURE, 6-step drinking water filter, Total cost 1.044 Thb.

And Uni Pure own filters to change the 6 filters, Total price 750 Thb.

@Never done that

Thank You for your advice.  Do you think this system is better than reverse osmosis systems with the holding tank.   Patrick

I am not going to speak about if one system is beter then other system.

I can only say that the 2 system (Mazuma & UNI PURE) we use in my time here in Thaiand have work perfect.
