Cd and music allowed to get into Singapore or not ???

Hi all,
We will be moving very soon to Singapore and I am really fond of music...just wanted to check can I get my music CDs along or music in USB ??
I read somewhere media is not allowed and am afraid I won't get to hear my music I completely adore.....

Please let me know ASAP

Nats, your worries are unfounded.  You can find shops selling music CDs and DVDs in most malls.  Having say that, there is a growing trend that music are purchased and downloaded from online stores.  Music shops are fighting to stay alive.

Thanks...that wud probably mean I need to leave my collection home :(
But nevertheless ...I guess I m good if they are available in gen ...online or otherwise.

There is no censorship of music in Singapore, only of movies and written media. Thus (unless they are obviously pirated copies) you should have no problem importing your collection for private use.
