Moving to Cagayan De Oro

Hypnostache

Hello, my name is Morgan, I am a 48 yo New Zealander.
I am have been with my Filipina GF for more then 2 years now
and we have decided to move to CDO around August.
She is a teacher and from Davao and she has little
confidence that there will be jobs for her
and suitable housing for us both there.
Does she have need for concern?
Also am I able to renew my visa in CDO as we
are not yet married.
Any pointers or advice is welcome.  Thanks

Hi Morgam
I am Ed M and live in CDO for about 10 years now. Answer to your questions.. There are many teaching jobs here but there are many teachers and collages making more. However a teacher with experience should be able to find work. If your lady is good in English there is always teaching English on line and in many cases she can make more this way. As for housing this is not a problem there are many rentals and places for sale. Just be careful being a foreigner there are many who will try to take advantage of you including lawyers. I can help you in these areas if you want, For me foreigners need to help each other  As for immigration there is a office right in town in one of the Malls.  If you want e mail me ***
