Foreigner COVID-19 Vaccinations

Wellsfry
So I am told no more pre test for covid to arrive into the Philippines from the u.s. as long as you are "vaccinated" and have 1 booster?  True?
Okieboy

@manwonder the problem I have with these vaccines they just approved Phizer for some children, how did the Philippines get these vaccines so fast, and as far as the booster it is just another shot of Phizer, I am afraid to take the same thing 3 or 4 times I will wait on the actual booster by Phizer

I had my Pfizer booster several months ago it was my third jab after two previous Sinovac jabs. Maybe or maybe not it's the same old Pfizer now approved for Children.

Yes. They look at the vax card and want to see a booster on there. It was checked by PAL and again at entry in Philippines.

@Lotus Eater No, omicron is a much weaker strain; by natural selection, viruses tend to mutate to be more contagious and less deadly. Yet, authorities keep treating omicron like it was delta. If you are they type of person who gets a flu shot every year, you should also consider a covid vax, especially older people. It should not be mandatory.

@pnwcyclist thank you...

Okieboy.... Philippines appears to be "flooded" with pfizer vaccines infact some  (near expiry) are planned to be donated to other poorer countries...I just hope/pray the kids got the correct ones....they still all appear to be fine >72hrs from their 1st jab.

I had my 1st ,2nd and 3rd never .
Im 63 . Our friends who had all of them all got omicron .  My wife and I , nothing .
One of them  a Germain guy who we each shared out opions on getting the unnecessary Vaxxes .him being pro vaxx and vaxxed . Asked me if we got omicron
I told him no with a smile .
He looked at me for a second , and said  f..k you
  Haha 😆
I guess that's not what he wanted to hear.
But there is a american you tuber living in the Philippines and married to a pinay  .who both visited  Singapore .  They came back to the Philippines . Let on the plane .but when they arrived there was trouble because they didnt have 3 shots .2 isn't good enough
They went back  to get the " booster"  as it would be the most expediant solution .   ( His wife needed to start classes )    other wise i think they would have had to quarantine .
" It's more frustrating in the Philippines"   not more fun ...anymore

- @manwonder   the sad thing is kids dont need  the covid vaccine but parents will give it to them

Wife and I just received our 2nd Pfizer boosters. This last time there was no waiting time. Considering the mild nature of the omicron variants, I think only the elderly and immunocomromised and people with comorbiities should get the shots, certainly not the kids. But to me it looks like the local population is not worried about omicron anyway as evidenced by no waiting time anymore.

At the beginning of vaccines .
If I get the wonderful vaccine can I stop wearing masks?
No!
Can I travel without a covid test.?
No!.
Can I enter another country with out a quarantine then ?
No !
Because the the vaccine never stopped anyone from getting or transmitting the covid flu .
And everyone but the gullible knew it .
But still it's a cash cow  and  the Unvaxxed are being discriminated for not captiulating to a vaccine we dont need
Myself as a good example .
Im 63 . No vaxx  over 2 years now  and healthy . As is my unvaxxed wife and daughter and 4 brothers 2 of which now have  unemployed  wife's who are long time registered nurses who refused the unnecessary vaccine .
.
I suspect this is a great trial run for the next compulsory/forced stamp .   The one that the wef/nwo will champion . But come what may .

Our 3 young kids aged 6 to 11 got their 2nd Pfizer jab on 7 Jul....all 3 kids were inoculated and in/out of the portable tent in hardly 1.25hrs (super professional/friendly staff) & hardly anyone were present as there still remain many locals reluctant/sitting on the sidelines without taking their jabs even after so long.)
Its been 1week since the kids completed their jabs & non of them show any distress signs so now its time for me to bring to the beach & buy that huge tub of  ice cream which I had promised.

If you think you’re going to have a normal life without getting any vaccinations you’re sadly mistaken as you basically can’t travel or go anywhere  sans Covid vaccinations. I got one jab, Johnson, but I keep telling myself I will never get a Covid-related vaccination again due to the risks you mentioned. That being said, how do you live freely in a world that mandates the damn things.

Eventually, but hopefully not, you’re whole family will receive the vaccines for Covid-19 due to unnecessary mandates. It seems without the vaccinations one would not have much of a life.

You don't. Had Janssen. Scared of booster

Freedom is being vaxxed and being able to travel and not worry about dying if I do get covid. Having to be intubated or dying in a foreign hospital is not my idea of a good time.

I’ve had plenty of vaccines in my life and prefer to trust science in this regard.

Spoiler, the less shots the better.
