Any Australian citizen or permanent resident living in Indonesia can register for a repatriation flight. An online registration is available via covid19.dfat.com.au

Upon registering you'll get a phonecall from an Australian consulate nearest you and updated mail and information.

Please register if you are wanting to head back to Oz.

I believe they are seeking sufficient numbers to generate a repatriation flight to Australia for anyone wishing to return. With Singapore closed to transit traffic from Indonesia there leaves only Qatar and Emirates as viable alternative. In regards to your comment we are all aware of our colonial past and our humble beginnings as a penal colony in Australia but that was 200 years ago聽 . Didn't the French have Devils Island?
