used machinery into paraguay

i'd like to know if i can bring to paraguay any used machine. if the "aduanas"(customs) is going tax it or confiscate.in my case it is a render mixing pump ( cost around $8.000 brand new).i,m going to ship it from england.

Hope my 2 cents aren't too late.

sirscallop, as far I could find out, IF you should bring used machinery in a container there wouldn't be much trouble, not sure about how they will tax it but if your shipping-agent this side is a good one they will have it all cleared even before it arrives here...
