I am moving to Asuncion sometime around August-September. I will be staying until March 1, 2015. Looking for 1 or 2 bedroom apartment close to the US Embassy and/or in town close to shops, activities, etc. I will rely on public transport like taxi's so thats also a factor. I am looking to spend under $800 per month. Can anyone help?
If you do Facebook, look up the Expats en Paraguay site.聽 聽Hundreds of members, many if not most are in Asuncion and occasionally someone will post about having an apartment/rooms for rent.聽 At the very least you can post there to see if anyone knows of something.聽 I would think that for your price range your not going to get too close to the US Embassy, but finding something not too "native" in a fairly decent area in that price range shouldn't be too far from reality.聽 Good luck
