Hey there (: This is my first post and have a question that's killing me to ask. I know that the art center in Ecuador is planned to be constructed in Loja. Technically, the center of art is already there, which encourages my interest. But one of my passions is writing -poetry, essays...- in English and Spanish. Is that also something appraised in Loja. And if so, as an Expat that does not speak perfect Spanish, is there a selection of well paying jobs or gigs there?

And since I'm asking, what about singing and acting?

Hi Alli,聽 I don't know much about Loja, but it sounds like a great city in Ecuador, and is known as the musical capital of Ecuador.聽 I don't know that there are many expats there, but there is a small community.聽 If you're on Facebook, you might ask in the Ecuador Expat group.聽 There are several members from Loja there.聽聽Good luck!
