Always look up online a generic brand first.聽 Many times there are generic meds here that are not yet approved in the US by the FDA.聽 Doesn't mean they are not effective and they are always cheaper.聽 If it's a drug you can't find here and you are a resident and can obtain an Ecuadorian prescription for it, you can have them shipped in by an international pharmacy.聽 If you use DHL and they email you the IVA and duty on the meds (which they do before delivery), make sure they know that you can't get them here and tell them it's life or death.聽 It may take an extra day in customs but the duty/IVA is always reduced.聽 My husband does this every month with his kidney anti-rejection meds.
