Moka pot in Medellin?

Brian Stockwood

Any idea where to find a 3 cup Bialetti moka pot for sale in Medellin?  Even a non Bialetti will work (if it's reliable)

Thanks!

Yes head straight over to Falabella as they carry this brand. I have also seen them in various higher end boutique cafe shops not only in Medellin but Bogota and certainly the ones down in the coffee region/Armenia/etc.

And if you are willing to wait a week or two you can order them through Mercadolibre and wow you can get custom colors if that is your thing, they sure look pretty.

From one coffee lover to another enjoy!

Thank you so much!  Which high end cafe/shops do you recommend in Medellin that might carry it, if it is not in Falabella?

Your welcome. Sorry can't pinpoint which cafe but have seen them occasionally....so the best advice I can give you is to head over to a mall, perhaps El Tesoro or San Diego and check out the cafes, boutique shops and your sure to find it.

Hope this helps.

I looked on Fallabella websites and they seem to only carry the generic brands...but I'll check it out anyway...

No they carry the name brand, here is a snap shot:

Unfortunately, it says they’re out of stock, but I’ll keep looking. I don’t want to order anything online because I live in a small town and I don’t trust the way things work here. Thanks again.

So yesterday I found myself across the street from Falabella located in the San Diego mall (central Medellin) and so stopped in for a look at the various coffee pots, what a good selection and saw these non Bialetti style but Italian design/built nonetheless.

Very reasonably priced from about 80,000 to 140,000 pesos.

I am enjoying my favorite Cafe Quindio morning coffee as I compose this. Godspeed!

Let me see if I can add this photo I took yesterday inside the Falabella store in San Diego mall.....
