What mail forwarding shipping service from the States is good?

jaguar57

I want a mail forwarding address in the States so a private shipping company can deliver stuff to me in Cali, such as what I order on Amazon. Any suggestions as to which companies are good?

I don't know how good (!) the service is, but 4-72 (the Colombian Post) offers such a service:

Have you used this service, are you recommending it or just mentioning it?  Can you tell us the cost and size and weight of any packages you have sent/received, from where to where, and how long it took?  Were there any problems, or did all go smoothly?

Thanks!

When I look at their map of the locations of their offices in various cities in Colombia where you could pick up a package, all of them show only the same Bogotá address.  This could be just a programming/website error.

Doing a search for 'casillero virtual 472' I did find these comments on Twitter, which are not at all confidence-inspiring in their ability to deliver:

Another discussion not complimentary about the service:

Yes 4-72 have a very bad reputation.  I personally can't complain much. Out of like 20 packages, all arrived in Colombia.

On another forum, people mentioned buscalibre.com
Never used it.

Another (which I have not used but mention anyway, this is not an endorsement):

And it has a calculator for cost:

I’d like to update this thread to 2020.  Is anyone using a mail forwarding service, or can anyone recommend on based on experience?
