Hi all!
聽聽I'm planning a 5-6 month trip to Brazil at the end of the month, and would like to network with those already living there before I arrive. I'm not looking to work, just looking for a change of scenery from life in Canada. I'm 28, single guy. Ideally I'd like someone who has a place I can crash (even the couch) because I don't have enough money to rent a place of my own. I'm willing to safely earn my stay and contribute to cost of food. I'd really just like to blend in, and not really looking to do all the touristy stuff. I'm a fast language learner and a graduate (if that makes a difference) with work experience in Sales and Marketing. I like music, dancing, soccer, and martial arts, just to name a few. I'd really appreciate some help with getting connected with the right people.

Hi Freddy,

I麓m another CANUCK who has been living in Brazil for over 9 years now and presently live in S茫o Paulo. While I can't offer you a place to crash I certainly can fill you in on all the information you will need to know for life in S茫o Paulo and Brazil, help you keep from making the same mistakes that I and all gringoes make here which will save you lots of headaches. I can also help you with your Portuguese, a skill you will really need here and I can let you know about the places to see, things not to do, etc.

If you don't mind having friends that are considerably older than you (61) I麓m sure we could go out from time to time for a brew. My wife is closer to your age (25)and we have a beautiful son who will be 4 years old in July.

I love to cook, so you certainly would be a welcome guest at a real Brazilian churrasco (barbecue) when I do one. Let me know if you're intrested in hooking up and if so I will pass you more information on how to contact me. In any case, if there is anything I can do to help you out, inform you or answer any of the many questions you must have about life here you can count on me.
