Also is it possible to get a consular birth certificate  ????

Any help would be appreciated

Well, first, stay in school and study English and how to write.

Second, you don't apply for "dual citizenship."  If you were born in the USA, you are a US Citizen.  If you mother is British, you may or may not qualify for citizenship in the UK. Normally, under British Common Law, it is the father hat decides the citizenship of the child.

However, do some research via Google and I think you will find everything you need. You will need to file papers with the British Government and apply for citizenship as a British Subject.

If you are granted citizenship as a British Subject, you will have what is referred to as "Dual Citizenship."

By-the-way, it's dual not duel.

A duel is an arranged engagement in combat between two individuals, with matched weapons in accordance with agreed-upon rules.

Here is what a quick search turned up.

Your mother may be able to apply for her child (under 18 years of age) to be registered as a British citizen, for example if she isa British citizen and her child was born or adopted outside the UK.

The application must be received when her child is under 18.

Ask your mother to apply for you.

First where are u? U can go to the British Embassy with proof of your English connection: ie mother's birth certificate, your birth certificate etc and order British Birth certificate. After getting the birth certificate you can use it to apply for a British passport.

If you read his post, you will clearly understand he as born in the US and has a US birth certificate.  That does not prove he is a British citizen.

As stated before, his mother must file for him, before he turns 18.
