Martin in Tlaquepaque

Martin Amada

Happy new year folks. I'm originally from the US, but have lived half my life in other places. Here in the Guadalajara area since March 2020, and planning to stay as long as they let me.

Thanks for the welcome!

I'm not too hard to please. Lots of sunshine, freshly cooked food at reasonable prices, a decent internet connection and a good (tennis) hitting partner are pretty much all I need to be content. Seeing so many playful young families on my evening and weekend strolls is a bonus.

Tlaquepaque folk are some of the friendliest I've met, and having lived in Thailand, that's saying a lot.

It's a little cooler mornings and nights than I thought it would be in winter, but no complaints!
