It is generally known that we need to add the bank details when we login into some 3rd party app and this is risky as there are more cyber attacks...
Hence, I would prefer option 1 to be used by any of us for remitting money be it in Canada or any other country.

I would like to actually suggest you use the DBS Digibank app because it is one of the best options available for people who want to send money abroad with a same-day transfer and probably even not charging fees for a few frequent countries like the USA, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, UK, etc.

You can try using it as it is a reliable and trusted service option for us Indians.

Do let me know if you have any sort of confusion.

One of the better options for sending money from India to abroad let's say Canda as asked in the question is the remittance service of any bank that we can opt because using the 3rd party apps would not be a safer option. I am using the DBS Digibanks outward remittance service though there are too many options available but I choose this for the safety and better service aspect. U oo can read and try.
