Best tips for people coming to Montreal

wavzesos

Hi, my name is Mike, and I've been Living in Montreal for quite a while.

The best recommendations for English speaking people who wants to live in Montreal, are:

1- If you don't speak French, don't worry downtown and towards the west island, there are a lot of English speaking communities you can get involve with.

2- the rent on a monthly basis is around $450.00 for a 3 1/2 apartment, but dos not include heating, phone, TV, etc...

3- Best places where you could find multi-ethnic community and cheaper rent are around the area of Cote Des Neiges Street.
If you are lucky you might find rent for a 3 1/2 apartment for about $350.00 a month everything include. but don't forget! You get what you pay for, and at that price you don't get much.

If you could afford $350.00 a month for a 1 1/2 apartment you will end up having a much more pleasant stay, better environment and better neighbours.

There, you have everything at your convenience, drug store, grocery stores, cinemas, universities, good ambiance café and restaurant for all kinds of taste.
