Hi,

As this saga of trying to get back homes continues to twist and turn (now I know how Dorothy felt), I am thinking of going to wherever I can and transform a lot of frustrations into an adventure. To simplify things, though, I'd want to travel light.

Does anyone have experience shipping a suitcase (50lbs+/-) to Canada?

What carriers should I look to?

What is the cheapest way? A slow boat is fine as it is not essential stuff. I can ship to a friend in Vancouver so I won't need to have it stored anywhere.

I shipped some before I came via United, TV, and trunk. Rest was with me and charged for extra bags

Revisit this question. Since the land and sea borders are closed for entering Brazil, there may be ships docked waiting to be filled.
When I checked prices were high and value just not there.
