Hello,

I am a single mother with 13 year old daughter. I want to move to Canada. Can you people tell me f i can be granted a Canada visa easily or is it as difficult as applying for USA visa for single mothers?...Any guidance will be appreciated. I reside in Pakistan.

Hello ym00,

That would all depend on your work experience and skills. Any kind of permanent residency is based on a point system and perhaps a visa under the Skilled Worker's Program.

If you have no marketable skills, are a single mother and no job prospects the government would assume you'll eventually depend on government assistance and wouldn't issue a visa for that very reason.
