Hay welcome to UAE... Holy Month of Ramadan starts from Aug 1st that will be a new experience for you and all newcomers to an Arab Country, during this Ramadan time we are not allowed eating or drinking at public places at daytime.  But you will get attached to UAE and its culture very fast
