Need help with an Inactive Mobile

firouzeh

Hi guys,

I need your help please. I have not used my Turkish mobile number for a long time and apparently it's been deactivated.

Please let me know how I could activate it, and whether there is any fees involved to be paid, and how much?

I appreciate your input and help greatly,

Thanks,
F

Thanks Borraro, I tried but since I don't speak the language and they don't speak English, it's very hard to resolve the issue! That's why I decided to post it here.

are you sure that the mobile number has been deactivated? maybe yr phone itself has been deactivated if it is foreign origin.

firouzeh

No, I bought it here as a second hand. I used to get Bimcell prepaid package. It was working well for the first few months as I was working during those months.

When I changed my job and started using the phone less, it went to semi active mode; meaning I was able to receive calls and use its internet but couldn't call anyone.  Now I think it is completely deactivated as I haven't used it for a long time.

take a friend (turkish-english or turkish-persian translator) with you to visit bimcell to understand the issue.

hey, btw, did you try to operate yr phone with another active sim card and/or yr current sim with a functioning phone, to distinguish which one has problem..

Hi,

No I didn't. I don't have another phone which takes the same size sim.

Have no clue what to do. It worries me as I received a message that I owe them over 3000 lira!!!! I did not even make a phone call for the past 6 months.  I don't know whether this is a scheme or not. :|
