Hello and welcome on board !

I would suggest that you do some research first by reading the Living in Turkey guide for expats, specially the articles related to jobs.

You may also create your CV in the Jobs in Turkey section and open a new thread on the Turkey forum to seek advice from members.

All the best

@antoncross Hi,

First of all there is a visa exemption for UK citizens. You can come without any visa but stay 90 days in 180 days.  You can apply for residence permit within these 90 days or leave the country and come back after 90 days stay out of Turkey.

When it comes to residence permits unfortunately news are not good. Most of the applications are rejected. Only property owners, students (university) and family members who are married with Turkish person or foreigner who already has a residence or work permit can get residence permit.

If you are planning to buy a property, the value of the house must be at least 200 thousand dollars to be able to get residence permit.
