Hi friends,

Soon we will have holiday for Eid starting from 25th October, 2012 till 28th October, 2012.

I am planning to visit Madain Saleh in Madinah region. We are two people, me and my wife.

Its around 1200 kms from here and it will take 12 hours drive to reach there.

Here is the proposed itinerary:
Thursday 25th Oct: Leave for Madain Saleh & Thursday late night: reach Al Ula town (23kms from Madain Saleh).
Check in at one of the two hotels in Al Ula town with our prior booking.

Friday 26th Oct: Perform Eid prayers (for those who want to) in the nearby mosque, have breakfast and leave for Madain Saleh.

See the historic site on this day and return to the hotel in the evening.

Saturday 27th Oct: late morning breakfast & leave for Riyadh, reach Riyadh late in the night.

If we travel in a large group it will be great! The permissions to this place can be obtained prior by us or we can ask the hotel to do so. In which ever case it can be determined once we agree on the trip.
