Where to Riyadhanites go on Cheap Breaks to?

Britisher

FYI, Riyadhanites is a term I've coined which refers to all those who hail from Riyadh.

SO any ideas where people in Riyadh go to for breaks.  I know about Bahrain, but I'm wondering where else there is that people in Riyadh can just get a cheap flight to and have a restful break for a few days.

Thanks

You can get to Dubai cheaply on NAS (under 800SAR).

In Saudi - Farasan Islands via the Jizan Ferry/fastboats or Abha in the Asir mountains.

Outside - Dubai as said above is cheap so is Muscat. For a long weekend try Shaarm or Katmandhu (neither require prior visas for Brits).

Ignoring the word flight for a while and focusing on the main idea, you can drive to UAE & Qatar (but don't do that alone). Share the wheel to save from getting exhausted. This will be cheap and a great break.

If you just want a change of scenery..then Khobar is a good choice.
