Expat Moving to Riyadh Non-Compound Advice

Khaz01

Hi everyone,

I will be moving to Riyadh in the next couple of months and wanted some advice regarding non-compound accommodation.

After looking at prices of compounds, I think I will be going for non-compound due to affordability. I am a single male moving alone, so only looking for a 1Bed apartment. My work will based near the airport. Budget would be around 40K-55K annually. Can anyone recommend some good neighbourhoods with good facilities nearby (ideally within 20min drive from the airport). Are there any good commercial apartment projects? I heard apartments can generally be quite run down.

Also any advice about living in Riyadh would be helpful as I’ve never visited before!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Khaz01,

I just moved (one week ago) and I'm in a similar situation to yours.

I just met a real estate agent who has solutions in areas that may be of interest to you: Al Malqa (if I remember correctly).

He has been very professional with me. If you are interested I can share his contact with you.
