Hello friends,

I hope you are all fine. I am gonna relocate to Riyadh from Dubai on 03.07.23, would appreciate if someone can guide on below -

Good Indian schools
Area to stay should be considering school or work location
Is it advisable to live in compound or outside
Are house help (maid) available
Approximate 2BHK rental in decent location
can we get short term like a month service apartment

@Akhilesh Dubey - Welcome to Riyadh bro! I am living here for 6 months and have a good idea about the latest updates.

There are quite a few good CBSE, ICSE & Cambridge Indian Schools depending on which curriculum your kids followed in UAE. Naming anyone of them here would be more like advertising. You can DM, if you need any help
There are service apartments available across the city depending on where your office or school location is. You can contact me if you would like to share specific info based on your office location.
For Service Apt, 2 BHK will cost average 5k SR/month and a rental 2BHK will cost average 2.5k/month.
Life in compounds is a different fun, we get to have an altogether different social life. The rents are an average of 100k SR/year or 25% more if that sounds reasonable. Outside compounds, 2 BHK will cost you an average of 32k-35k SR
House Helps are available in compounds at pre-fixed rates unlike other places where you can get babysitters, house helps on contract, more easily.

Myself Imran, hope you had a smooth relocation from Dubai to Riyadh.. actually I am in similar situation now..by Nov 2023 I am planning to relocate to Riyadh..so wanna check regarding

1. Can you suggest Good School under CBSE in Riyadh.

2. In KSA is there any KHDA like education department which is there in UAE..which tells the rating of school and other information

3. Did you used any packers and movers service from Dubai to Riyadh? If yes can you share any contact no.

4. How about vehicle transfer? Because my car is just 3-4 yrs old..Have you done it ? Any suggestions
