Baby food available in Saudi

belishabeacon

Hi everyone, I would like to know what bottled baby food is available in Jubail, Dammam or Khobar (since I believe the two latter places are where the big shopping malls/supermarkets are). My one-year old is about to make the transition from potted baby food to table food, but is still refusing to eat, so I'm keeping her on baby food for the meantime. Are there a lot of choices available in the supermarkets? What are the most common brands (Gerber, etc)?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Belishabeacon,

Have you considered getting a food grinder (a small hand-held one made for this purpose) and making your own babyfood?  When you're cooking, don't season the food until after you scoop out a bit for the baby!  If you mix it all together then, meat/chicken with the veggies, it will have a kind of bottled food consistency.

Hi Alliecat, yes, I have this food steamer/blender that I'm bringing along with me. Sometimes she eats homecooked food but other times she refuses to eat anything but bottled food - picky eater, unfortunately! I just want to make sure all the food options are with me when I arrive in Saudi :)
