Hi,
You will most certainly enjoy it here IF YOU WORK for a decent company
At night it is truly spectacular with all the lights and lots of restaurants and coffee shops. The Zone in Riyadh is definitely a must-try - Greem and Catch 22 restaurants are lovely but there is a lot there.
. We have been here for a year and a half but due to Saudization, companies are exploiting their expat workers.Ìý They give them 1y contracts and thereafter "toy" with them by extending two months, then 1 month, and this goes on...also not giving them increases, which I think by law they are supposed to work on a min of 2% inflation. However, the laborer people with small salaries, don't report this as they are too happy to still have a job.Ìý Their living conditions are atrocious - Ours a little better but just as bad - WORST COMPOUND EVER
This is what we have found/experienced with a lot of companies.
My husband must be working for the WORST co in Saudi which obviously is not a good reflection on Saudi.Ìý We all tend to say Saudi is not a good place to work in however it is the companies that are bad..Good luck in your venture here

Hi,
Just DO NOT look at Al Romaizan Compound....this must be the WORST compound ever
